Leny de Boer – van den Bronk (10 March 1919 – 2012) was a popular blind faith healer, active in the Rotterdam area (Netherlands). According to herself she derived her powers from the Italian healer Padre Pio (later canonised as saint). She bequeathed her materials related to her healing practice to the Meertens Institute, including the means to set up this platform. (Picture: drawing of Leny at the age of 45, in 1964.)
